Paul has directed the first episode of the new series of Countrywise. The programme is set in Dorset and features a family who have been fishing the Dorset coastline for more than 300 years and a 105 year old woman who is the last person alive to have known the author Thomas Hardy. Whatever the result suggests the presentation was excellent and the bid team full of exceptional people who delivered a great campaign. Wilder have completed a 6 minute theatrical film experience for the UAE Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010.
Featuring an Emirati boy and a Chinese girl taking a magical journey through the UAE, the film composites animated action against live action backgrounds that include scuba diving and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Production involved a 22 day 35 mm live action shoot directed by Kevin Mckiernan and 10 weeks of digital post production carried out by Centro Digital Pictures in Hong Kong.

After months of planning we've finally started shooting a 3 minute theatrical film for the UAE pavillion at Shanghai Expo 2010. Where better to start than at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The lucky team from Wilder were director Kevin McKiernan and Producer Will Oakley. It's the start of an epic 15 day shoot all across the UAE.
The IOC have voted overwhelmingly in favour of Rugby joining the Olympic movement in Copenhagen today. Wilder created both films used in the 20 min presentation by the IRB. Congratulations to Mike Miller and the IRB and Mike Lee and his team at VERO. It was a great campaign to work on and needless to say we're really chuffed with the result. click here to watch.
Ripple has won two more awards. The audience award at Festival Silhouette, the open air festival in Paris Festival website and 3rd Place at the Kansk International film Festival in Russia.Festival website. We're thrilled with both, particularly winning our third audience prize but also pleased to discover this hand made poster of Ripple on the wall of the Kansk Museum of Contemporary Art. Not sure who the girl is but if we ever make a sequel, she'll get the part.

completed a series of 8 films with the COI for the Department for Children,
Schools and Families. The films encourage parents to become more involved in
their children’s education and are specifically targeted at audiences identified
as hard to reach, including young parents, disabled parents and parents with
English as a second language. Here’s one example, an inspiring story about a

Our short film Ripple has won 2 more awards. Best Short Film at the Mexico International Film Festival and Best Acting at the MCM Filmfest in the Netherlands. That makes 9 trophies in total. Another film for the COI, this time for the London Criminal Justice Board. Using animation designed and directed by Sim Tennant, the film dispels many of the myths surrounding London’s crime figures and informs the public about the role of the different Criminal Justice agencies. It was fun to make and hopefully fun(ish) to watch.

have recently updated our award winning film for the IRB including new footage
shot in India by Director Simon Baker. The film features Mangesh Chavan, a
13 year old boy from the Mumbai slums alongside rugby stars such as Springbok’s
winger Bryan Habana and ex England captain Lawrence Dallaglio. The film will be
shown to the IOC as part of a campaign to make Rugby Sevens an Olympic sport. Click here to watch film.
Wilder have invested in the amazing Canon
5D, a stills camera that shoots HD moving imagery. The 35mm lenses help produce
beautiful results as shown by this test film for Myla lingerie filmed by Mike
Gosbee. Wilder also used the 5D as a 2nd camera
on our recent films for the DCSF. The camera will allow us to offer great value
to clients on jobs that benefit from the Canon’s incredible portability and
